logoHave you been noticing how housing affordability challenges are impacting your family, your town, and your community? Here is a way for you to support housing solutions that are in progress now in your town and in the region.

Litchfield County Center for Housing Opportunity (LC CHO) works every day (and sometimes nights too!) to help our local volunteer-led housing non-profits take the next steps to create housing that is affordable for seniors, young families, and people who work in our towns’ small businesses, schools, and health care jobs. It is an incredible amount of work to get these affordable rental and ownership opportunities from the feasibility stage through funding and into construction and our local housing nonprofits do not have the funding to pay for these services.

This is why LCCHO relies on donors to help. In 2025, LCCHO helped our local housing nonprofits access over $15 million in predevelopment, construction, and permanent financing. We’re assisting with a development pipeline of 209 rental homes and 21 owner homes in 12 towns. All of these homes will be affordable to households that desperately need them. In order to continue this work in 2026 and beyond, we need your help. Please make a gift to our campaign today and help us address one of the most challenging affordability issues of our time.
