Thank You!

On June 15th, more than 50 Northwest Connecticut nonprofits posted giving campaigns to raise funds to meet the challenges of operating amid social distancing and remote work requirements created by Covid-19.

Thanks to your support, all 53 Northwest Corner Gives campaigns met their fundraising goals and received their full dollar-for dollar matches!

Northwest Corner Gives is the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation’s gift-matching crowdfunding platform.

Northwest Corner Gives enables community members to crowdfund gifts to local nonprofits. Through generous gifts from community members, and anonymous, and discretionary Community Foundation funds, the Community Foundation matches those crowdfunded gifts to double their impact and help nonprofits reach their goals sooner.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Community Foundation has launched Northwest Corner Gives: COVID-19 Relief Grants

Relief Grant Gift Matching enables local nonprofits to set fundraising goals to meet their immediate needs, including operational support. The Community Foundation matches dollar-for-dollar all gifts until their goals are achieved.

Northwest Corner Gives: COVID-19 Gift Matching is part of the Northwest Community Foundation’s coordinated response to support local nonprofits during this difficult time.  Matching funds are made possible through the Northwest Corner Gives: COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.
